Each day it brings in the transactions from each account you choose to connect there, so your books stay current without typing or uploading statements. It can see your transactions, and it can never move money. Every plan includes the same bookkeeping and AI features, apart from projects and job costing, which are the Business Max add-on. Plans differ in how many businesses they include, and in who can do what: on monthly Solo everyone you invite is an editor, while Business and up let you choose each person's access. Invites are free and there is no seat limit on any plan. ## One connection means one bank - Sign in to Chase once and bring in your checking, your savings and your business card. There is no limit. - **On the 30-day lifetime trial, or a trial BooksGPT set up for you:** up to three banks per business. To add one, see [Connect your bank account](https://help.booksgpt.ai/en/article/connect-your-bank-account-j52ax9/). ## What each plan includes Each business gets its own workspace: its own books, bank connections and documents. Your plan sets how many business workspaces you can have. Monthly plans: - **Solo**, $29 a month: 1 business. Everyone you invite joins as an editor, from the first day of the trial. - **Business**, $39 a month: 3 businesses. - **Practice**, $89 a month: 10 businesses. - **Firm**, $299 a month: 25 businesses. Firm is not on the pricing cards: click **Explore plans for firms** under them. Lifetime access, one payment: - **Solo**, $189: 1 business. - **Business**, $289: 3 businesses. Business Max, for projects and job costing: - $30 a month on top of a paid Solo or Business plan, lifetime included. The first week is free the first time you add it. - Included with Practice and Firm. - To add it, click **Add Business Max** in Settings, under **Plan & billing**. Every plan includes bank connections, imports, invoices, bills, inventory, purchase orders, class tracking, reports and the AI bookkeeper. Inviting people is free on every plan: the limits are businesses, never people. ## Compare the plans 1. Open [Pricing](https://booksgpt.ai/pricing) on booksgpt.ai. 2. Read the **Solo**, **Business** and **Practice** cards. 3. For a side-by-side list against QuickBooks and Xero, click **Compare every feature** under the cards. 4. The first two ask for a card and charge nothing if you cancel before the trial ends. - **The 7-day free trial is for the monthly plans.** After 7 days the monthly price starts, and it renews every month. - **The 30-day free trial is for lifetime access** to Solo or Business. A $1 hold checks your card and is released right away. After 30 days the lifetime price is charged once, and there is nothing more to pay. - **A trial BooksGPT set up for you after a call** needs no card and never charges. Your welcome email and the banner in BooksGPT show its dates. When it ends, your books stay saved and readable. To keep making changes, click **Choose plan** in the banner. To stop a trial before it charges, see [Cancel a trial or monthly plan](https://help.booksgpt.ai/en/article/cancel-a-trial-or-monthly-plan-4fkmls/). ## Need more businesses than your plan includes On a paid plan you can add extra business workspaces: - $5 a month each on lifetime access or Firm. - $10 a month each on Solo, Business or Practice. Click [Settings](https://app.booksgpt.ai/go/settings) at the bottom of the sidebar, then find **Plan & billing**. Under **Extra client workspaces**, click **Buy workspace capacity**. Extra workspaces need a card on file. They cannot be added during the 30-day lifetime trial, a trial BooksGPT set up for you, or while your plan is set to cancel. Your first personal workspace, for net worth and budgets, is free on a paid plan. The workspace owner or a bookkeeper can download everything in one zip. 1. Click [Settings](https://app.booksgpt.ai/go/settings) at the bottom of the sidebar, then find **Download everything**. 2. Click **Prepare export**. You can leave the page: BooksGPT emails you when the zip is ready. 3. When the row says **Ready**, click **Download**. It stays there for 7 days. The zip holds your records as spreadsheet files, your main reports as PDFs, and your receipts, Drive files and invoice attachments. Bills and invoices read from a PDF or photo are listed, but their original files are not included, so keep your own copies. The zip is a copy to keep, not a backup you can load back into BooksGPT. Each report can also be exported or printed from its own page. ## If something goes wrong - **You reached three banks on a trial.** Choose a paid plan to connect more. Reconnecting a bank you already have does not count as a new one. - **Checkout signed you in with the wrong account.** Click the X beside your email on the **Signed in** row. That signs you out and keeps the plan you picked, so you can sign in with the right account. - **Checkout will not load.** Reload the page and choose your plan again.
