Ask the AI Copilot about your books

Copilot is your built-in assistant. Ask it questions about your finances in plain language instead of hunting through reports.


Open Copilot:


  • Click Copilot in the sidebar, or
  • Click the Ask BooksGPT button in the bottom-right corner.


It slides in as a panel on the right. Press Escape to close it.


What you can ask:


  • Profit and loss, revenue, expenses, and margin, for example "Am I profitable this quarter?"
  • Balance sheet, cash, and accounts receivable or payable
  • The balance in a specific account
  • Recent transactions, for example "What did I spend at Amazon last month?"
  • Tax and deduction suggestions, with IRS references to review with your CPA


Good to know:


  • Copilot needs a paid seat and counts against your monthly chat allowance.
  • Copilot answers and advises. It does not change your books from the chat.
