Fix or change a transaction's category

You can correct any category in a click, and re-run the AI on a batch when you need to.


Fix one transaction:


  1. Go to Transactions in the sidebar.
  2. Click the category cell on the transaction.
  3. Pick the correct category. It saves instantly.
  4. To mark it done, click the transaction's status icon to set it to Reviewed.


Re-run AI on many transactions:


  1. Go to Banking in the sidebar (your Connected accounts page).
  2. Click the Re-run AI button in the header. It shows how many uncategorized transactions it will process. You can also select specific rows first.
  3. Small batches run right away. Large batches ask you to confirm, since they use some of your monthly AI quota.


Good to know:


  • Re-running AI never overwrites a category you set yourself.
  • A single click processes up to 1,000 transactions. If you have more, click again to queue the next batch.
